West Brom’s opening day fixture away at Middlesbrough on July 30th has already been selected for TV coverage ahead of the new season.

The trip to the North East will be moved from the traditional kick-off time of 15:00 to 17:30 and be shown live on Sky Sports.

It’s evident that the broadcasters haven’t yet got tired of moving Albion’s fixtures about after a never-ending series of games were chosen for coverage last season.

By the end of the last campaign, the Baggies had only played a handful of games on a Saturday at the Hawthorns due to the constant chopping and changing for broadcasters.

And whilst it’s not a bad thing for the club in terms of revenue, it can be incredibly frustrating for the fans.

The trip to the Riverside is however the only game that has been chosen for TV coverage, for now.
