West Brom picked up a point against Millwall at The Hawthorn’s last weekend as the two played to a goalless draw.

The Baggies picked up two points from a possible six, drawing 2-2 with Watford at Vicarage Road last Wednesday before a 0-0 draw against former Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett.

With that in mind, here’s the latest stories involving West Brom:

Adam Reach months off from training

Adam Reach will not begin training until mid-November, according to a medical specialist. Dr Rajpal Brar owns a clinic in Los Angeles, and helps athletes with injury rehabilitation as well as risking the likelihood of an injury, as well as stress aleviation.

Brar in his weekly column with West Brom News said: “His injury is a recurrence of a quadriceps injury that first occurred in April.

It sounds like his return timeline is targeted for somewhere in December so mid to late November for light training could be a reasonable goal.

Considering he had surgery recently, he’s likely taking it quite easy for the next coming days.

The 30-year-old underwent surgery back in August after a recurrence of his quad injury and that procedure likely ruled him out for the rest of 2023.

He picked up the injury against Burton Albion on Saturday, July 22, and unfortunately it looks like that he won't be returning any time soon.

Reach is out of contract next summer, and will have to impress Carlos Corberan upon his return to first-team action whilst carefully managing his injury.

Kelly could be loaned out in January

The Baggies could loan Martin Kelly out again after the expeienced defender failed to get back in to the side. He has yet to return to first-team training, and in his absence we have seen Darnell Furlong and Pipa play in that right wing-back role. Kelly sustined an injury whilst on loan at Wigan Athletic, and now he could be shipped out again once fit.

First-team manager Carlos Corberan provided this update on the situation to BirminghamLive: “We need to analyse when is the right moment, and to see what is the best decision for him to loan, or to keep.

“That’s something that, for now, I cannot tell you because it’s September. If you ask me right now is he ready, then I tell you he is not ready. If you ask me if he’s completed any training with the group, then no – he has not yet.”
