The Baggies, said to be seeking funds for the upcoming transfer window, are claimed to be listing reliable right-back Darnell Furlong for sale.
Having failed to gain promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, West Brom have once again gone without the financial boom of returning to the top flight.

Hide AdSpending has been kept to a bare minimum over recent windows, even after the recent takeover from Florida businessman Shilen Patel. Some £20 million worth of loans was taken out under the previous ownership, leaving Patel no choice but to sweep up mess of years gone by.
It could be quite some time until major signings can be acquired, unless sales are made to fund them. Journalist Alan Nixon, via his Patreon, reports the decision is locked in for Furlong to be sold. This is with the tricky financial situation in mind, maintaining the promise to Corberan that he’ll be able to make his own mark on the squad.
Furlong has just 12 months left on his current contract, making this summer the final chance to lure in a seven-figure transfer fee. It’s claimed West Brom would listen to offers in the region of £2 million, likely prompting interest from an array of Premier League clubs.
Conflicting Furlong report emerges
A slightly differing perspective has cropped up since, however, with Furlong perhaps not as on the chopping block as first thought. Birmingham World’s sister publication, Express & Star, reports West Brom are indeed likely to generate funds through sales but only from squad members Corberan is willing to see depart.

It’s very unlikely Furlong would be one of those as the 28-year-old featured in all 46 of West Brom’s Championship games last term, scoring five and assisting three. The defender, known for his long throws, has played over 200 times for Albion, making him well worth the £1.3 million fee paid to Queens Park Rangers in 2019.
