Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion have released their confirmed starting lineups and substitutes for tonight’s Sky Bet Championship clash at the Stadium of Light. The game kicks off at 8pm and it is live on Sky Sports Football.

It’s the first time the Baggies have faced competitive action since exactly one month ago, meanwhile, the Black Cats managed an impressive 3-0 victory on their return last Saturday.

Leading the line for the hosts tonight is Ellis Simms, who is supported by Elliot Embleton, Amad Diallo and Alex Pritchard just behind. Ched Evans wears the captain’s armband and sits alongside Dan Neil in midfield.

West Brom manager Carlos Corberan opts for Brandon Thomas-Asante up front as he takes no risks with recent returnee Daryl Dike, who is on the bench. Semi Ajayi and Kyle Bartley are not in the squad.

Starting XI: Patterson (GK); Gooch, O’Nien, Batth, Alese; Evans (C), Neil; Diallo, Pritchard, Embleton; Simms.
