Davie Selke, who held talks with West Brom late in the summer transfer transfer window according to reporter Elias Burke, has now joined Koln from Hertha Berlin. The striker was a target of former boss Steve Bruce and has stayed put in Germany now.

Carlos Corberan has labelled forward Daryl Dike as a ‘very important’ player for his side. He has told the Express & Star: “He had a long-term injury but he’s a very important player for us. The fitter he is, the better it is for the team, the more he trains, the better condition he’s in to perform. So there isn’t any doubt that he’s one very important player for us that we need to keep controlling, because he’s one player that we need in the box.”

Birmingham City

Przemysław Płacheta has returned to Norwich City from his loan at Birmingham. The Poland international has struggled with injury since his summer switch to the Midlands and made just five league appearances.

George Hall and Scott Hogan are expected to return to training over the next couple of days, as per a report by Birmingham Live, which is a boost. John Eustace’s side have an away trip to face League One side Forest Green Rovers in the FA Cup on Saturday.
