West Brom striker Reyes Cleary is attracting interest from some unnamed League One and League Two clubs ahead of the January transfer window, as detailed in a report by Birmingham Live. The 18-year-old has made four first-team appearances so far this term, who of which have come in the Championship.

Summer signing Brandon Thomas-Asante is enjoying life under Corberan and has told the Express & Star: “He is a real student, guru, of the game. I feel all the players love playing for a manager who loves the game. He studies it and when the manager gives us advice we know it will yield results and we know it’s from a place of understanding.”

Birmingham boss Eustace isn’t surprised to see George Hall linked with Leeds United. The midfielder is being tipped for a bright future in the game and the Midlands club will be desperate to keep him. His manager has addressed the rumours, as per Birmingham Live: “George is a brilliant player, a really good young player and I expect it with all our young players. George’s performances this season have been very, very good.

“He has made 16-17 appearances now – last season he made two appearances. It’s my job to develop him properly, which I feel like we are doing. We are giving him starts, he is impacting off the bench but it’s all about his development.

“It’s important I don’t put too much pressure on him and that every time he goes on to the field he makes an impact – and I think he has done that up to now.”

The Blues’ allocation for the trip to Blackpool has been increased. They make the trip to Bloomfield Road on Saturday 10th December and have been given 3,469 away tickets.
