West Brom are reportedly interested in Huddersfield Town midfielder Jon Russell, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon. Carlos Corberan managed the ex-Chelsea man at the John Smith’s Stadium and now wants to reunite with him in the Midlands.

Baggies striker Mo Faal has joined AFC Fylde on loan for the next month. The youngster has been given the green light to head out the exit door on a temporary basis to get some more first-team experience under his belt. He spent time with AFC Telford United earlier this term but didn’t score in six games for the Bucks.

Birmingham City

Aberdeen have stepped up their pursuit of former Birmingham defender Josh Dagres-Cogley. The Press and Journal report the Scottish Premiership side are keen to land the right-back from League Two side Tranmere Rovers. He rose up through the youth ranks at St Andrews and played 30 times before leaving last year.

Ex-Blues ace Jude Bellingham has helped England progress to the quarter-finals of the World Cup. The Three Lions beat Senegal 3-0 and the Borussia Dortmund midfielder stood out again for Gareth Southgate’s side. Next up is a tricky clash against France.
