West Brom may have to let some players leave in the January transfer window. Their CEO Ron Gourlay has said, as per the Express & Star: “We have a big squad, and if he needs to make some changes then we have to support him, that could be funds made available and also with players maybe having to go.”

The Baggies will be without Kyle Bartley for their clash against Sheffield United. The defender, who used to play for the Blades, is suspended after picking up a red card last time out against Millwall. Semi Ajayi and Daryl Dike remain sidelined too.

Birmingham City

Birmingham boss John Eustace is looking forward to locking horns with his former club QPR this evening. He played for the R’s during his playing days and has said: “I had a brilliant time there. I had four fantastic years. I met some fantastic people and worked for a couple of really good managers. It was a fantastic experience. I have nothing but good memories.

“We will have a game plan on how we are going to play. We have to respect them, they are an excellent team and a really good manager there. Again, as long as we are competitive, we will see where it takes us.”
