West Bromwich Albion are back in Sky Bet Championship action midweek as they take on Preston North End at Deepdale on Wednesday night.

Having won just one of their 11 opening league games, West Brom have had a very disappointing start to the campaign.

The Baggies’ most recent outing ended in a 3-2 defeat to Swansea City at the Hawthorns - further mounting pressure on Steve Bruce and his players.

Sitting above the relegation zone on goal difference alone, Bruce’s side will need to turn things around quickly if they want any real chance of a playoff push.

Preston have only lost two games his season, but astonishingly six of their 11 matches have ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

The North End have the best defensive record in the division with four conceded, but also the worst goalscoring form with just three scored.
