West Bromwich Albion are in Sky Bet Championship action for the penultimate time this season as they take on Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.
The Baggies can effectively secure the targeted top-six finish with a victory due to their far superior goal difference compared to other teams in the fight. Winning will be easier said than done, however, as Wednesday are merely one point above the relegation zone and are fighting for their second-tier lives.
Danny Rohl’s side are in good form, too, with two wins and two draws in their previous four outings. West Brom, meanwhile, have lost their last two as Sunderland won 1-0 against a 10-man Albion team at The Hawthorns and Leicester City ran out fortunate 2-1 victors at King Power Stadium.
Carlos Corberan is bound to show a lot of respect for this weekend’s opposition and so a strong lineup has to be expected. Brandon Thomas-Asante is back from his one-match suspension but Tom Fellows is a doubt through a groin injury. Josh Maja is flirting with a start but his fitness probably isn’t up to scratch yet.
With those team news details in mind, here’s how Birmingham World predicts West Brom will line up this weekend.

2. RB - Darnell Furlong
Furlong, back to his best at both ends of the field this season, has locked down the right-back spot. Summer loan signing Pipa hasn’t had a look-in. | Getty Images

3. CB - Cedric Kipre
Kipre was terrific despite defeat last time out as he delivered the brilliant assist for Wallace’s goal and put in some great sliding blocks. | Getty Images

4. CB - Kyle Bartley
