West Brom predicted XI v Stoke City as Carlos Corberan shakes things up by adding 'steel'

West Brom earned themselves a point against Watford on Easter Monday and those who finished the game might have earned starts.

West Brom make the short trip to face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Baggies go in to the game on the back of a 2-2 draw with Watford at The Hawthorns. They battled from two goals down to earn a point thanks to efforts from Brandon Thomas-Asante and Darnell Furlong.

A win wasn't a necessity by any means but you'd rather WBA wrap up for their top-six place sooner rather than later. Watford arrived as a team with not much to play for whereas Stoke are still battling to secure their place in the division for another year. Things have improved in recent weeks with one defeat in four games and they came out of the Easter period with four points from a possible six, going unbeaten.

West Brom showed their character by battling back from two goals down to earn a point and with the games coming thick and fast, there might be a few changes in the offing. Cedric Kipre was absent on Monday because of a shoulder injury but Carlos Corberan expects him to be available on Saturday, and given how important he's been to the team this season, you'd fully expect him to take his place in the starting XI.

Stoke will represent the third game in eight days for West Brom and there's also a midweek fixture next Wednesday against Rotherham United to think about. A lot of praise was put on to the players who finished the match. One suggestion this week has been to unleash Yann M'Vila who has yet to start after joining on a free transfer.

Below, BirminghamWorld puts itself in to the position of Carlos Corberan and names the side that could line up in Staffordshire. Will Corberan play it safe or keep his players on their toes?
