West Bromwich Albion's return from the international break sees an immediate Good Friday away trip to Millwall in the Sky Bet Championship.
Carlos Corberan's men will be eager to regroup quickly as they look to strengthen their bid for play-off qualification, a feat looking likely with the gap to seventh-placed Hull City now eight points. The Lions, meanwhile, can move seven points clear of the relegation zone with a victory.
West Brom impressed before the internationals, maintaining a six-match unbeaten streak with four wins and two draws. The last defeat was at the hands of Southampton on February 16, when Corberan was shown a bizarre red card for interfering with play.
Millwall have been in decent form, too, with three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five. The last two home fixtures have been narrow 1-0 victories, with Watford and Birmingham City both going home disappointed. Corberan will be aware of that to guard his players from suffering similar dismay.
The Albion head coach has a few selection dilemmas ahead of Friday afternoon, caused by returns from injury and changes in form. With those factors considered, here are the 11 players we predict will start at The Den, with explanations for every inclusion.
1. GK - Alex Palmer
Palmer has been excellent between the sticks, helping the Baggies to the third-best defensive record in the Championship.
2. RB - Darnell Furlong
Furlong, back to his best this season, has without doubt locked down the right-back spot. Pipa hasn’t been able to have a look-in.
3. CB - Cedric Kipre
Kipre, one of the most consistent performers this term, has become one of the first names on the team sheet.
4. CB - Kyle Bartley
Bartley should come back in for Erik Pieters, who had a shambolic half an hour or so against Bristol City. It’s a shame for Pieters as he’s been great otherwise but it’s a sensible call.
