West Bromwich Albion made it five draws in seven Championship games following the 1-1 result away at Wigan Athletic.

It was another night of disappointment for the Baggies who - in the words of Steve Bruce - didn’t do enough to get the three points from a well organised Wigan side.

Albion have just one win to their name in the league so far this season and frustration is understandably beginning to boil over among some supporters.

Here’s a snippet of what some have been saying following the 1-1 draw at the DW Stadium.

What West Brom fans have been saying

@RPeniket:Newcastle fans were bang on weren’t they?”

@ALBIONFANTV: “Serious issues when you can’t even beat Wigan”

@AndyfromNewHamp: “Seven games in and only a semblance of dominance in one.. Limited impact players all over the place and a bench that is a damp squib.. Worrying times at West Brom..”

@JonnyWhite909: “How does Townsend fly under the radar with these performances. There are better left backs in League 1 & 2. Been shocking for 2 seasons. And the least said about Karlan Grant the better. I’ve not seen a worse player in an Albion shirt for yrs.”

@Jordan_Brown29: “Honestly embarrassing at this point. How much longer can we keep going on like this? Few teams win tomorrow we could drop as low as 21st. Need to sort it out soon.”

@joebell45: “I’ve been willing to give Bruce time this season to sort out what is what and with some glimmers of hope. But the fact of the matter is we have 1 win from 7 games in the championship. We sacked Di Matteo for 1 win in 9 in the premier league. Questions have to be asked imo”

@HuwGriffinRugby: “You’ll never see a man take less responsibility - doesn’t refer to what he has tried to do once in this.”

@kingofchezo_WBA: “I know his hands are tied and I know there has been poor investment but come on Bruce surely must do better with these players he has at his disposal. 1 win in 7 and 8 points isn’t good enough at all. This division is shocking”

And even a Newcastle fan weighed in after the result...

@GordonKelly: “Dear Baggies, we’re so sorry. We tried to warn you. It will get worse before it gets better... aka you sack him (note: he will refuse to resign out of “integrity” and the media will defend him and attack you). But sack him you will, one day Sincerely, NUFC fans”
