West Brom's Championship rivals Cardiff City parted company with Erol Bulut last week, making him the third managerial casualty of the season.
Ryan Lowe departed Preston North End just one game in to the season, whilst Stoke City earlier this month made the decision to part with Steven Schumacher. Narcis Pelach was appointed, and in his first game as Potters boss, he witnessed a 3-1 defeat, despite leading at half-time.

Corberan is approaching two years at the Hawthorns, and it looks like the decision for both he and the club to stick together is proving a wise decision.

There has been talk of Leeds United and Southampton considering a move for Corberan should they part with Daniel Farke or Russell Martin, but the Spaniard is building something in the Midlands. His side are currently top of the Championship, and having waited his time, he was given money to invest in to the playing squad this summer.
He guided the club to a fifth-placed finish last season, and whilst it’s early days, right now it’s okay to discuss West Brom as potential automatic promotion contenders given their position. Baggies supporters shouldn’t worry either about the prospect of Corberan leaving, as he is under contract until the summer of 2027, and he reportedly has a release clause.
The 41-year-old is a good few years off of being the longest serving Championship manager, but Corberan and the supporters will hope he’s one of the longest serving bosses in the Premier League, as promotion will be the goal this season.

Omer Riza has worked the least amount of days as a Championship manager, having only succeeded Erol Bulut as interim boss on Sunday. Interestingly, only Paul Warne and Mark Robins have been in their jobs for more than two years, with some others approaching that milestone, whilst almost three quarters of the division have had their manager for less than a year.
