West Brom can keep their slim hopes of making a dash back towards the Championship play-offs alive if they can pull off a victory over Huddersfield Town on Friday evening.
Albion have yet to register back-to-back wins in 2022 whereas the Terriers haven’t lost in league action since the back end of November.
That in itself shows the mammoth task that awaits Steve Bruce and his men when they take to the field at the Hawthorns but this is football and far stranger things have happened.
Albion have been boosted this week with the return of big money signing Daryl Dike to training and though the game against Huddersfield will come too soon for him - his return in itself has helped rise morale around the place.
Away from that and West Brom look good to go in terms of who is fit and available aside from Alex Mowatt who has been struggling with a muscle injury this week and will be a late call prior to the match.
With that all taken into account, here’s the eleven we think Bruce goes with to try and nail down what would be a colossal three points.

1. GK - Sam Johnstone
An immovable object. Johnstone’s place is in no doubt.

2. CB - Semi Ajayi

3. CB - Kyle Bartley

4. CB - Matt Clarke
Brought more balance to the defence coming in on the left side.
