How West Brom’s new-look squad will line-up at the start of the 22/23 season according to Football Manager

Would you take this squad if offered it?

This summer is expected to be an incredibly busy one down at the Hawthorns as Steve Bruce looks to re-shape the West Brom squad into one that can challenge for promotion.

Last season was far from what anyone expected and fell well below expectations as the club finished 10th, eight points behind the final play-off place.

But with a man at the reins who knows as well as anyone how to get out of this division and a revamped squad - next year could be the year Albion bounce back to the top flight.

One signing has already been made in John Swift and with the transfer window set to open in the next days, business is expected to ramp up even further.

But who else could follow him through the door? Well, we’ve done the only logical thing in this situation and taken to Football Manager to see what they come up with, of course.

The popular video game franchise is renowned for its meticulous detail and authentic approach to the world of, well, football management, and we thought we’d take a look into the future by fast forwarding to the end of the 2022 transfer summer transfer window.

Check out West Brom’s in-game starting XI from the first day of the 2022/23 Championship season below...
