Here’s how the final attendance table shapes up at the end of the 2022/23 season – with teams from The Championship, League One and League Two compared.

The English Football League campaign is very nearly over with just six teams left to play with anxious trips to Wembley Stadium ahead of them.

Throughout the season, hundreds of thousands of fans have travelled up and down the country to see their clubs play, cheering them on no end.

West Midlands clubs Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion are no exception as they were among the best-supported sides in the entire English football pyramid.

But they’re not the only teams with large followings, as plenty of others have generated huge turnouts all the way from July through to May.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at how the 72 teams across the Championship, League One and League Two have fared, creating a top 40.
