Every Championship club’s average AWAY attendance - Where do West Brom, Cardiff City & QPR rank - gallery

All 24 of the Championship’s average away attendances in one place - see how your team ranks.

‘Is that all you take away?’ is a chant that can be heard by a few English clubs when at home and mocking a less than sizeable away following.

Away attendances have become somewhat of an obsession for certain clubs in the English football pyramid, as they use it to show how well supported of a club they are.

Clubs’ away followings have several factors to consider though such as where a club is placed geographically, as well as what kind allocation a home club gives them.

West Brom have had respectable away followings this season, and in the four matches they've played away from the Hawthorn's so far this season they have yet to take less than 1,200 which is something to be applauded. Last week they took an estimated 1,200 fans to Vicarage Road for the 2-2 against Watford, and that was off the back of taking 2,550 to Bristol City for a goalless draw at Ashton Gate.

Fans of teams in the Championship can now judge how their away followings are. All teams in the league have played eight games, though some have had an uneven amount of home and away games. It’ll be worth coming back to the table when we’re at the quarter and then the half-way point of the season.

As for now however, flick through the pages to see how all 24 Championship clubs stack up when it comes to average attendances.
