Predicted Championship table sees shocks for West Brom, Southampton, Sunderland, Plymouth Argyle, Coventry City and rivals - gallery

With six weeks to go until the 2023/24 season, here’s a very early Championship table prediction – with surprises at both ends.

The 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season is still over six weeks away and the players have very much settled down for their summer break, but that hasn’t stopped early predictions from being made.

Following the relegations of three huge clubs from the Premier League - Southampton, Leeds United and Leicester City - it has the potential to be one of the most competitive campaigns in recent memory.

Burnley, Sheffield United and Luton Town will no longer take part as they were promoted to the top tier, whereas Wigan Athletic, Blackpool and Reading all faced the drop down to League One.

The sides who have risen from that particular division are Plymouth Argyle, Ipswich Town and Sheffield Wednesday. They’re set to take the Championship by storm, unsettling those who narrowly survived relegation last term.

West Midlands sides West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City will be hopeful they can push on after reasonable successes last campaign. The Baggies recovered brilliantly under Carlos Corberan, while Blues reached their best points total in seven years.

It may be a long way away yet, but in order to get a vague idea of how things might look come the end of next season, we’ve taken a dive into the latest odds from Sky Bet and put together a table.

Flick through the pages for the full list, including the odds of relegation and promotion for all 24 clubs.
