A look at the latest predicted Championship table to see where West Brom are backed to finish amid their playoff race.

West Brom took another step towards the play-offs over the weekend with a comfortable win over strugglers Huddersfield Town. Carlos Corberan's men won 4-1, with Kyle Bartley and Okay Yokuslu adding to a Michael Johnston brace.

The win means the Baggies remain in fifth place, holding a five point gap over Norwich City in sixth and Hull City in seventh. What's more, the Baggies now have a run of five very winnable games and a generally friendly run-in. That puts Corberan's men in a strong place as they look to finish the job, but what do the data experts say about the Baggies' chances of landing a playoff spot?

FootballWP predict the final table by using a variety of data to predict every remaining result, and the good news is that they have West Brom staying where they are in fifth place, finishing on 85 points. That, the prediction says, would put them five points behind Southampton - who they would face in the semi-finals - and as many as 10 points ahead of Coventry City in sixth. It's predicted the Baggies would secure a play-off spot by no less than 13 points, with Norwich City just missing out.

Leeds United are being tipped to finish second with 101 points, with Ipswich Town in third on 95 points. That would mean West Brom face Southampton home and then away, while Ipswich would face Coventry home then away. The playoffs are a very different game, but it's worth noting the Baggies lost twice against the Saints this season, losing 2-1 at St Mary's and 2-0 at The Hawthorns.

Elsewhere in the prediction, Leicester City are tipped to win the league with a record-breaking 107 points. Meanwhile, Rotherham United, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday are all tipped to suffer relegation to League One.
