West Bromwich Albion are back in Sky Bet Championship action on Wednesday evening as they head away to Coventry City. The Baggies are full of confidence before the clash having won five successive games in the division, including an impressive 3-0 home victory over Rotherham United at the weekend.

Carlos Corberan has revived what seemed to be a broken club in a matter of weeks, with his only defeat during his opening six league matches being within just days of taking over from Steve Bruce. The Spaniard has built up an aura of confidence at the Hawthorns incredibly quickly, and he will be eager to build on his strong start with another positive result at the CBS Arena.

The hosts have suffered plenty of injury issues recently, with multiple players ‘out for months’ according to head coach Mark Robins. Wing-back Josh Eccles (ankle), centre-half Kyle McFadzean (calf), striker Tyler Walker (knee) and forward Matty Godden (ankle) are all sidelined for the game and for at least a few weeks thereafter.

For West Brom, Kyle Bartley will not play as he is ill, but Semi Ajayi is set to be included in the matchday squad after finally recovering from an ankle injury sustained in August. “The same players we had in the previous game are going to be available,” Corberan said pre-match. “We will have the same group plus the players who haven’t been involved and we will make a decision,” Corberan continued.

Ruled out: Eccles, McFazdean, Walker, Godden (COV); Bartley (WBA).
