Championship table since Steve Bruce appointment: Where West Brom, Nottingham Forest, Sheffield United all sit

The grim reality of the second-half of the season in all its glory for Albion fans

If you were unaware of current positions and someone told you that West Brom had beaten Fulham and Bournemouth since Steve Bruce took the reins at the Hawthorns you’d probably think they were right up the top end of the Championship table.

But you could’t be further wrong.

Away from those two impressive wins, they only have one other to their name since the arrival of Bruce taking their total tally to three in 12 games. Far from promotion form.

That’s not to blame the new man though, there is far more wrong at Albion than just the former Newcastle United boss. Those results simply just highlight the complete lunacy and inconsistency of this Baggies team. An inconsistency that has seen their play-off hopes all but diminish.

This is the business end of the season and this is where picking up points matters more than any other time of the campaign. Where survival is secured and promotion is clinched.

So who is doing said business? Who, over the last 12 games since the arrival of Bruce in the Black Country has stepped up when it matters?

Here’s a look at how the Championship table would look, in full, based only on games since Brucey’s appointment.
