We’re less than two weeks away from the 2022/23 Championship campaign getting underway and we can’t bloomin’ wait.
Last season’s play-off final losers Huddersfield Town get things started when they take on recently relegated Burnley in the Friday evening kick-off.
The bulk of the action then gets going less than 24 hours later - Birmingham City travel to Luton Town hoping to repeat their incredible 5-0 drubbing of last season whilst West Brom face the tough trip to fellow promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough.
Those openers will provide the first chance for many fans to see their new look side in action and whilst one outcome won’t shape the year, it could provide a good indication of where each team are heading in the campaign ahead.
