When Steve Bruce took over from Valerien Ismael at West Brom back in February, Albion were 9th, just a point off the play-offs.
The hope from fans then was that a mid-season revival could not only see them clinch a top six spot but maybe challenge for an automatic place - something that looked a real possibility in the opening months of the campaign.
It wasn’t to be though. The Baggies if anything derailed even further and ultimately finished 10th, eight points off of Luton Town in sixth.
Considering how they looked at one stage under Bruce, a top-half finish actually ended up being not half bad but where would they be had the league started on the day of his first game at Sheffield United away?
BirminghamWorld have taken a look at the Championship table based only on the results of his 16-game tenure and it’s pulled up some pretty mad outcomes across the league - including an absolute shocker for Birmingham City.
