The Sky Bet Championship is now underway for the 2023/24 season and teams up and down the division have been dipping into the transfer market to bolster their squads, giving them the best chance of success.

Some sides have seen more action than others but not one has failed to complete a deal this summer. The transfer activity makes for a very different-looking English second tier personnel-wise and in terms of finances.

West Bromwich Albion, for example, may not have spent any fees on players but the signings of Josh Maja and Jeremy Sarmiento have increased their overall squad value. The same can be said for plenty of other teams.
