The Baggies took 1,760 supporters to Loftus Road on the opening day of the season, as they witnessed a 3-1 win. Since then, they've had matches against Stoke City, Portsmouth, and Sheffield Wednesday. In all four of those matches they have never dropped below four figures, and the 3,100 that travelled to Hillsborough earlier this month, is the largest away recording of the season so far for WBA.

In the next block of fixtures, the Baggies are away against Oxford United for a lunch-time kick-off, before a midweek trip to Blackburn Rovers. They are also on their travels to Luton Town and Hull City, which are sandwiched in between home matches against Cardiff City, and Burnley.

Leeds United pride themselves on being one of the best supported teams in the Championship, and even England, and it comes as no surprise that they’re top of the table, but they have to share that position. Coventry City have the same average as them, and so the two can both lay acclaim to having the best away support in the division so far.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, Swansea City have the lowest average out of the 24 clubs, with an average of 902. They along with Millwall are the only teams that don’t have a four figure average. In fairness to Swansea, they did have a lengthy trip to Middlesbrough, and so far their best away followings have come at West Brom, and Coventry.
