Carlos Corberan braves four changes - West Brom predicted XI gallery vs Rotherham United
Our predicted West Bromwich Albion starting lineup for Saturday afternoon’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Rotherham United.
West Bromwich Albion take on Rotherham United on Saturday afternoon as they return to the Hawthorns for competitive action for the first time since November 12. The Baggies managed an impressive 2-1 comeback victory away at Sunderland on Monday evening, as super substitutes Tom Rogic and Daryl Dike scored to turn things around.
The duo both looked very fresh despite spending lots of time on the sidelines over recent months and were key to helping Albion win a fourth successive league game. Carlos Corberan’s arrival has completely revived West Brom as his side have soared from rock bottom of the table to 17th.
If the Baggies were to win this weekend, they could move to as high up as 14th if results elsewhere go their way. Rotherham are in a bit of a rut at the moment as they have lost five of their last eight matches and won just once in that period. This victory was an impressive one away at Sheffield United, but overall The Millers are struggling.
As is the unpredictable nature of the Championship, though, Corberan and his men certainly cannot underestimate Rotherham. With that in mind, we think the Spaniard will go with a rather strong starting lineup on Saturday. Here is our predicted XI, with four changes made.

1. GK: Alex Palmer
Made a big save to stop Sunderland from doubling their lead. Has established himself as West Brom’s number one goalkeeper after taking over the role from David Button.

2. RB: Darnell Furlong
Corberan has a lot of trust in the 27-year-old, who had an alright game on Monday night. Will be hoping to push on, well and truly making the right-back spot his own.

3. CB: Dara O’Shea
Was probably Albion’s best defender in the last outing, as he sured things up alongside some shaky teammates. Been a key player all season.

4. CB: Okay Yokuslu
With the Baggies suffering so many injuries at the centre of defence, Yokuslu is a good option to drop into the back four. Makes you appreciate his versatility.
