West Brom new boy Tammer Bany on big money
According to Tipsbladet, West Brom new boy Bany has joined on a ‘wild salary’. The Danish outlet has claimed that he was earning DKK 360,000 a year in Randers (£40k) but could now earn around £30k per week if certain clauses are met, with promotion to the Premier League likely to be among them.
Bany, 21, has been snapped up by the Baggies to boost their attacking ranks. He will give them more competition and depth going forward.
The Copenhagen-born man has penned a three-year contract. He made 17 appearances in all competitions this season for Randers and chipped in with two goals and five assists. As with any player from abroad, it may take him a while to adapt to life in England. Patience may need to be required initially to help him get to grips with a new country and culture.

Hide AdWest Brom’s Andrew Nestor reacts to deal
West Brom’s Sporting Director Andrew Nestor has said: “We are delighted to welcome Tammer to The Hawthorns. There has been significant interest in him across Europe, and with good reason, as he is one of the most effective attacking players in Denmark.
“He is a versatile attacker that can play as a No.10 and in other forward positions. Having turned 21 this season, he is someone we can count on as part of our squad building plans both for now and in future years, so we are pleased to get the deal over the line.”
West Brom lost 2-1 away at Plymouth Argyle last time out. Speaking afterwards, Mowbray said: “I thought our performance was ok. We had a lot of dominance and a lot of the ball, but not enough efforts at goal. We spoke at half-time about the need for more end product, which is what we’ve spoken about since I walked in the door really. I didn’t really feel like they were a threat. I thought we dealt with them really well. They hit a lot of long balls and you’ve then got to clear the ball from out of your box.
"I think they were given a leg-up by a pretty poor decision from what I’ve seen. I’ve only seen it once on a laptop. I’m sure there are people out there who will see why it was given as a penalty, but for me, the player is so close to where the ball was struck from. I’m not sure what the referee wants him to do.”
