What happened to the 24 players who left West Brom this summer? Aston Villa, dating Coronation Street star and non-league - gallery

A total of four new players came through the door at The Hawthorn’s but what about those who departed the Midlands?

West Brom's 2023/24 summer transfer window isn't one that will live long in the memory.

Carlos Corberan had his hands tied behind his back as he was limited as to what he could do, and ultimately he was only able to bring in three new players for the first-team.

Jeremy Sarimento arrived on a season-long loan from Brighton & Hove Albion, but has suffered an injury in recent weeks that will keep him out until at least the next international break.

Josh Maja followed a week after and he's another player that had to deal firstly with getting to full fitness and then last month suffered an ankle injury that has him sidelined.

Corberan did reunite with Pipa of whom he worked with at Huddersfield Town, signing the right-back on deadline day, however he's yet to displace Darnell Furlong in the right wing-back position.

Ruben Shakpoke came to West Brom in late August, but he's a player that is more for the development side than he is the first-team, however if the injuries keep stacking up after John Swift was sidelined, then he might just become an option...

You know all about the players that came into the club, but what about those who departed? Players had to be let go to free up some funds for transfers, and to keep within the parameters of Financial Fair Play, so as supporters watched many players go they were left wondering if they would be replaced.

Flick through the pages to see where all the West Brom players who left this summer have ended up. Some left after their contracts expired, whilst others were sold. One former Baggies player even called it a day at just 30-years-old, and has decided to focus on things away from football.
