Daryl Dike injury decision as Carlos Corberan ponders major change - West Brom predicted XI v Norwich City

Here’s how we predict West Brom to line up against Norwich City in the EFL Championship on Boxing Day.

West Brom will have to pick themselves up from their disappointment against Middlesbrough when they host Norwich City at The Hawthorn's. It was a narrow defeat to the Boro on Saturday in their final fixture before Christmas, however it could have been more for the hosts.

Carlos Corberan has a few selection dilemmas to make, and that is down to the potential return of Daryl Dike. The United States striker is closing in on a return, and whilst his status is doubtful, he has been in training for the last few weeks, and nears a return at a time where striking options are limited. John Swift is a tried and tested player in the Championship, and he was a doubt going into Saturday, but he was able to play just over a quarter of the game, replacing club captain Jed Wallace.

The nature of the games being scheduled in such a short period of time means that changes will need to be made to ensure every player is ready when rotation is needed. Several players will always play, such as goalkeeper Alex Palmer, and Cedric Kipre, but there are other players who's positions aren't exactly safe.

Since the end of October, the formation that Corberan has deployed has been a 4-2-3-1 formation. It's been mixed a mixed bag of results since the change, and now could be the time in which they go back to three centre-backs and two wing-backs. Here's how we think West Brom will line up against Norwich on Boxing Day, which includes a formation change, and the inclusion of a long-term absentee.
