West Brom injury news and potential return dates as pair set for Ipswich Town clash

Latest injury news as West Brom go on a near two-week break before their next fixture against Ipswich Town.

West Brom have had their fair share of injuries to contend with this season but the treatment room could be getting smaller.

Up front is where Carlos Corberan has been hit the most with Josh Maja sidelined for two months, whilst Daryl Dike is a long-term absentee. John Swift was tried in a forward role, and he had a small bit of success there, but the dreaded injury curse came again, and since then Corberan has had to try and work with the squad that he's got.

On-loan Brighton forward Jeremy Sarmiento returned just before the international break, and made a welcome return from the bench against Hull City. He's yet to make an impact yet, but there's a hope that something will happen him before the New Year comes as the Seagulls assess the loan situation.

Several players departed The Hawthorn's this summer, but due to a lack of funds available, Corberan could not replace them, and instead the likes of Alex Mowatt and Cedric Kipre have returned from loans at Middlesbrough and Cardiff City, and earned their place back in the team. No one out on loan right now stands out as someone who could help boost the squad, but fortunately the injury list is clearing up.

The Baggies' next match is against Ipswich Town on Saturday, November 25, in what will be the start of a busy month of fixtures because of the festive period, and how the scheduling is condensed.

Flick through to see which players are currently sidelined with injury or dealing with a problem, as well as an update from Carlos Corberan as to where they are. Which players are you most keen to see return after spending time away from the pitch?
