Wolves and Fulham locking horns to sign 'bargain' 6ft 8in defender

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Lorient defender Isaak Touré this summer.
The Premier League duo are both in the market for central defenders following the departures of Maximilian Kilman and Tosin Adarabioyo to West Ham United and Chelsea respectively. The two players will be dearly missed as they weren’t only key players but also vitally important for set pieces.

Hide AdTouré is relatively inexperienced and is yet to take on the Premier League but he’d certainly offer aerial dominance. Standing at 6ft 8in, the 21-year-old made 24 league appearances last season before Lorient suffered the drop from Ligue 1 to Ligue 2.
Football Insider reports Wolves and Fulham are both considering making offers to sign Touré. The defender is available for a bargain £15 million release clause that has been active since Lorient’s relegation was confirmed.

Not yet the finished product but with the potential to become a top player, Touré would be a risky buy but one who could provide huge value. Formerly of Marseille and Le Havre, the France Under-21 international is a physical powerhouse and his mental attributes have been developing nicely.
If Wolves were to acquire Touré’s services, he would join fellow central defenders Craig Dawson, Toti Gomes, Santiago Bueno and Yerson Mosquera at Molineux.
