The latest net worth values of the possible new Manchester United owners, compared to the other 19 teams currently in the Premier League.

Manchester United are the latest Premier League side hoping to switch to new ownership after the Glazer family decided to put the club up for sale. Any potential takeover could have a big impact on the other 19 sides in the Premier League, including West Midlands sides Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Red Devils supporters have made it very clear over recent years that they would like a takeover to come around as soon as possible - and they may soon have their wish as a whole host of potential new owners have been circulating. Sir Jim Ratcliffe was the first linked and the billionaire businessman has since been followed by technology giants Apple and Amazon.

United have failed to reach anywhere near the heights left behind by Sir Alex Ferguson’s 26-year reign, with no Premier League title since the Scotsman’s departure at the end of the 2012/13 season. The Manchester club have spent plenty of money in the period since, but the recruitment has been well below par for the most part.

It is hoped, from a United perspective, that having some fresh faces in the boardroom could improve things somewhat. If it did, then it could make things that bit tougher for the Red Devils’ Premier League rivals, as many would have even less financial power against United than with the current state of play under the Glazers.
