The number of Wolves games shown on TV compared to Man City, West Ham, Arsenal, Liverpool & Premier League rivals - gallery

Sky Sports and TNT Sports broadcast the Premier League - and there's some teams that feature on TV more than others.

The Premier League is the most watched football league in the world, and it is one of the most popular sports leagues too.

A vast amount of money has been ploughed in both domestically and internationally, which has meant clubs have had bigger transfer budgets than ever before given the TV money. Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime Video currently pay a reported £5.1 billion to broadcast fixtures, and that deal is up for renewal at the end of the 2024/25 campaign.

In an ideal world, every game would be played at the traditional 3.00 pm kick-off, which has been a thing since football began, however there's a massive debate on streaming when it comes to that kick-off time. Matches played between 2.45 pm and 5.15 pm are not allowed to be shown on television to protect the lower league clubs and their attendances, but some fans want to see that rule removed, and instead see a pay-per-view service brought in like there was during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kick-off times vary in England when it comes to television, and some teams feature more than others. Fans want to see the best teams in the world so it comes as no surprise that perhaps the Big Six such as Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal are shown on the TV more than the likes of newly promoted Burnley and Sheffield United.

With the latest round of fixtures chosen up until the end of January, it's interesting to see how many times a team will be on television, and which team is deemed as box office. We've done the work so you don't have to, to see who's popular and who is not when it comes to their games being shown on TV. Flick through to see which teams have been chosen the most to feature on television this season.

*Please note that games featuring on Amazon Prime have not been included in the figures, as all matches will be streamed on the platform. Figures are also based on UK TV selections only.
