Premier League team of the week dominated by Aston Villa, Wolves, Liverpool, Arsenal and Brighton - gallery

Here's how the Premier League team of the week shapes up for the weekend of November 11-12.

The final weekend of Premier League action before the November international break was a scintillating one as a remarkable 39 goals were scored across the 10 fixtures played.

It was a matter of saving the best until last as Chelsea and Manchester City played out an eight-goal thriller at Stamford Bridge, ending 4-4 after both sides went ahead at various stages.

There were some other crackers before that, though, including West Ham United 3-2 Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace 2-3 Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur.

Of those, the latter was perhaps the most dramatic as Wolves were 1-0 down in the 90th minute but still somehow ended up as victors against title challengers Tottenham.

So many players impressed this weekend just gone that it would be difficult to pick just 11 to form a team of the week. Thankfully for us, WhoScored’s rating system chooses it for us.

Flick through the pages to see the best performers on the weekend of November 11-12, 2023.
