Here’s how the Premier League team of the week shapes up for the weekend of October 27-29, 2023.

Another thoroughly entertaining weekend of Premier League football has now passed, with a thrilling 30 goals scored across the 10 fixtures played.

Tottenham Hotspur have held their place at the top of the table following a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace on Friday night, whereas AFC Bournemouth earned their first victory of the season, against Burnley.

The highly anticipated Manchester Derby only ever looked to be going one way as soon as the first ball was kicked, with Manchester City earning a dominant 3-0 win over Manchester United.

Arsenal thrashed Sheffield United by five goals to nil and Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest 3-0 as both teams made sure to maintain the pressure on Tottenham and Man City above them.

Meanwhile, West Midlands sides Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers both enjoyed positive results as the Villans beat Luton Town 3-1 and Wolves held Newcastle United to a 2-2 draw.

Other results in the division included an important 1-0 victory for Everton away at West Ham United and a 1-1 sharing of points between Brighton & Hove Albion and Fulham at the Amex Stadium.

Countless players impressed this week that it would be difficult to form a team of just 11 players. WhoScored’s rating system has done the hard yards for us, however, making it far easier.

Without further ado, here’s how the team of the week shapes up for the weekend of October 27-29, with no more than three players per team.
