Premier League team of the week dominated by Aston Villa, Liverpool and Chelsea - as two players score 9/10

Aston Villa have two inclusions in the best XI of the weekend following Saturday’s impressive 3-1 comeback victory over local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, a result that soars the Villans up to third in the Premier League.

It was a strong Saturday for Liverpool and Chelsea, too, with the Reds seeing more players in the team of the week than any other team and the Blues squeezing in two stars of their own. Liverpool beat AFC Bournemouth and Chelsea thrashed West Ham United, both by a scoreline of three goals to nil.

The other clubs included in this team of the week are Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur. Oliver Glasner’s side held on for a 0-0 draw against Manchester United, while Ange Postecoglou’s men responded to conceding in the first minute to beat Brentford 3-1 on home soil.
