Premier League 'dirtiest' teams table includes Aston Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham, Brighton and Nottingham Forest

Stunning table exposes the dirtiest teams in the Premier League as all 20 clubs are ranked by disciplinary points.

Every weekend countless players in the Premier League are brandished yellow and red cards for a whole host of offences, whether it be reckless challenges or merely exchanging nasty words with officials.

This became particularly apparent recently as Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk became the first player to receive a straight red card for abusing a referee since Alan Smith for Newcastle United in 2008.

During a season where it's easier to get in the book than ever before, some teams are far worse culprits than others for their discipline. A few have received over 40 cards this season while others have been shown around 20 – or less.

Based on data from Transfermarkt, here’s how all 20 Premier League clubs rank in the ‘dirtiest teams table’, with one point per yellow card, three for every second yellow and five for each red.
