The Premier League certainly isn't short of takeover sagas.

Manchester United are the most recent to experience boardroom change as Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently purchased a 25 per cent stake in the footballer. Meanwhile, Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group are considering bid and Everton are up for sale.
