How Manchester United and Leeds United’s new potential owners’ net worth totals compare to Aston Villa, Wolves and the rest of the Premier League in 2023.
Manchester United and Leeds United could be set for new buyers or fresh majority owners according to recent reports, but where would that put them among the richest clubs in the Premier League?
The Red Devils are currently owned by the Glazer family but the club has been put up for sale and there are plenty of parties interested in taking over. One of these is Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who recently entered the bidding.
Leeds, meanwhile, are predominantly under the ownership of Andrea Radrizzani at the moment, but the owners of the San Francisco 49ers, 49ers Enterprises, which is owned by the York Family and others, have upped their stake to 44% in recent times.
Recent reports have suggested that 49ers Enterprises could move to take a majority share in the club, becoming the lead owners. That move would make Leeds significantly richer than they currently are.
But where would these moves put Man Utd and Leeds in the overall Premier League rich list? How do West Midlands clubs Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers sit compare?
Take a look below as we count up to the richest clubs...
