Now in mid-February, the 2023/24 Premier League season is nearly two-thirds of the way through and there are explicit signs of how things could conclude – but plenty of time remains for shocks in key battles.
Liverpool are the current leaders in the title race but Manchester City and Arsenal are close behind, with just two points separating the top three. Pep Guardiola's side do have a game in hand, though, meaning the title is theirs to lose.
The battle for the European spots is mightily competitive, with Tottenham Hotspur edging Aston Villa out of the top four by a single point. Manchester United are five points below Unai Emery's side, while Newcastle United, West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion are fighting to complete the top seven.
