Predicted Championship table forecasts play-off outcomes for West Brom, Hull, Norwich, Coventry and rivals

An updated prediction for the final 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship table.

The 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season is ticking towards its conclusion as over 80 percent of matches have been played but the drama is bound to continue right up until the end.

The fights for lifting the title, qualifying for the play-offs and escaping relegation are fierce, with very unpredictable outcomes. Leeds United have played an extra game but are the new leaders after beating Millwall. Leicester City are just merely goal difference behind, while Ipswich Town are just one point below.

In. the play-off fight, Southampton and West Bromwich Albion look comfortable in the top six with 15 and eight-point buffers respectively but the final spot is up for grabs. It’s the battle of the cities as Norwich are three points clear of seventh but Hull and Coventry have games in hand. Preston North End, Middlesbrough and Cardiff are also hanging on below.

Sheffield Wednesday were thrashed 6-0 by Ipswich Town at the weekend but four victories in the five fixtures previous have given them a fighting chance. Just five points separate Wednesday in 23rd and Millwall in 16th, with no certainty over second-tier football for several clubs.

Blackburn Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham City and Huddersfield are all sandwiched in between, creating chaos in the relegation fight.

Which teams, then, are the most likely to be relegated? Which sides will qualify for the play-offs? And who will walk away with the title? Based on the latest data simulations from Net World Sports, here’s how the Championship table is predicted to finish.
