The 23-year-old striker has become a firm fans favourite during his time with Celtic and further enhanced his reputation when he scored a late winner to see off arch rivals Rangers in the Scottish FA Cup Final last month. Reflecting on his loan spell with the Hoops in the aftermath of that Hampden Park triumph, Idah thanked supporters for their backing - but stopped short of giving any indication over where he future may lie.

In a post on his Instagram account, he said: "Bhoys, thank you. The last few months have been amazing, and I've loved being part of this special team. I've made memories and friends for life.Thank you for all the support whilst I've been here and best of luck for the future."

Celtic are believed to be keen to secure a permanent move for the striker and a £6m fee had been suggested across the media in recent weeks. However, the FootballScotland report has revealed Norwich are ‘not yet entertaining a permanent sale’ and expect Idah to return to pre-season training next month.

West London Sport have claimed the former Stoke City and Portsmouth stopper remains in talks over a new deal with the Loftus Road club after becoming a key part of Marc Cifuentes’ plans last season. Begovic made 46 appearances in all competitions and captains the R’s on all but two occasions during that time.
