The Republic of Ireland are on the search for a new manager after parting ways with Stephen Kenny this week.

Ireland failed to qualify for EURO 2024 and finished second from bottom in their five-team group which consisted of themselves France, Netherlands, Greece and Gibraltar. As a result, the 52-year-old's contracted with the FAI was not extended, and they must now identify the person to take them forward for their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

"It has been really special to have been an integral part of their journey on the international stage," said Kenny after it was revealed by the Ireland FA that his contract would not be extended.

"I had the privilege of overseeing the evolution of the squad for the past three years and I am genuinely excited about the future of this group of players and looking forward to seeing them mature and fulfil their collective potential."

Even before Kenny's departure, there had been talk about him being replaced, and now there is a list growing as to who could replace him. John Eustace who was sacked during the October international break is amongst the contenders, as well as Gary Rowett who has been linked with the Rotherham United job after leaving Millwall.

They aren't favourites for the post however, though there is someone who did manage Birmingham City at one stage who is the favourite for the role.

Flick through to see which managers are favourites for the post according to bookmaker BetVictor. It begins with those that are distant favourites and works its way up to who is the front-runner for the post.
