New predicted Championship table forecasts finishes for West Brom, Leeds United, Ipswich Town, Norwich City and rivals

A look at the latest final predicted table for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season.

Results throughout the fourth-to-last round of the 2023/24 season have upped the tension up and down the Sky Bet Championship, with the title fight, relegation battle and play-off race potentially all set to go down to the final day.

New leaders Ipswich Town are bouncing following a 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough but Leicester City, one point behind in second, have a game in hand. Leeds United, meanwhile, are two below Ipswich after suffering a shock 1-0 loss against Blackburn Rovers on home soil.

Southampton, 19 points clear of seventh, have claimed a spot in at least the play-offs but there could be a late charge for the automatic promotion places with a match in hand. West Bromwich Albion look set to secure fifth but Norwich City are hot on their tracks.

Hull City and Coventry City, albeit strugglers in the battle, are hoping to surprise one of either West Brom or Norwich to round off the top six. Middlesbrough and Preston North End are just about hanging in on there, too, but Michael Carrick and Ryan Lowe will have almost accepted defeat at this stage.

The fight at the foot of the standings is growing all the more interesting as just three of the bottom half failed to pick up points over the weekend just gone. Birmingham City dominated Coventry City to clinch a vital 3-0 win at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park but Stoke City, Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday all drew.

As it stands, just six points separate Millwall in 16th and Wednesday in 23rd with three matches to go. Blues, just one point above Huddersfield, could easily be sucked in and as could the other sides above if their form drops away.

It’s almost impossible to predict how the final Championship standings could look but the latest Sky Bet figures give us a decent idea. With that in mind, here’s a run-through of the predict final table, from first to last.
