League One title favourites Birmingham City are unbeaten four weeks into the new season but Chris Davies’ side face fierce competition from Wrexham and Stockport County, with both teams also yet to lose.

Wrexham’s fine start has continued following their promotion from League Two, with yet another victory seeing the Red Dragons up to second in the standings. Phil Parkinson’s men were clinical to beat Peterborough United 2-0 away from home on Saturday.
There was a thriller at Bloomfield Road as Blackpool and Wycombe Wanderers played out an intense 2-2 draw, while Shrewsbury Town threw off the shackles to claim their first points of the season in a dominant 3-0 win away at Leyton Orient.

Hide AdAnother victory of the same scoreline was earned by Barnsley as the Tykes thrashed Crawley Town away from home. Stockport weren’t able to continue their perfect start to the new campaign, however, as they dropped points in a 1-1 draw at Mansfield Town.
The other results from the recent weekend were Rotherham United 2-1 Huddersfield Town, Reading 2-0 Charlton Athletic, Bolton Wanderers 0-2 Exeter City, Bristol Rovers 2-0 Cambridge United, Stevenage 0-1 Lincoln City and Northampton Town 0-0 Burton Albion.

CB: Christoph Klarer (Birmingham City) - 7.94
Klarer was the star man for Blues in the 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic as he won all of his duels, both on the ground and in the air.
