During his time at Portman Road he made 63 appearances, and helped them win promotion to the Championship in 2023. He did not cost the Tractor Boys a transfer fee as his contract in 2021 with West Brom was not renewed. He was described as an 'exciting talent' by former Baggies boss Darren Moore who was professional development coach at the time.

Dudley-born Edwards came through the academy system at The Hawthorn's and had a 17-year association with the club. The 25-year-old made 49 appearances in total after breaking in to the first team in 2018, and got five assists and four goals. Five of his 49 outings were in the Premier League in the 2020/21 campaign.

In other news, Tom Fellows is in talks to remain at The Hawthorn's according to our friends at the Express & Star. Everton are interested in the academy youngster who has gone on to feature for the first-team this season. He is out of contract in the summer and the Toffee's owners are keen however attempts are being made to keep Fellows a Baggies player.
