Borussia Dortmund have finally set out an asking price for star midfielder Jude Bellingham, according to a reputable report. Transfer speculation continues to grow around the wonderkid as the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid are queuing up in the race for his signature.
The former Birmingham City man, who came through Blues’ academy before making a £20 million switch to Germany in 2020, is one of the most wanted players on the planet. With four goals and one assist in just six Champions League appearances this campaign, there is no wonder as to why.

The Athletic reports clubs are ‘lining up’ for Bellingham, with Liverpool, United, City and Madrid the four clubs looking to be the ‘primary contenders’. Crucially, it is claimed Dortmund’s asking figure will be around €150 million (£132 million). This is even the case with Bellingham’s contract set to expire in June 2025.
If he were to sell for that amount, Birmingham would receive 5% of Dortmund’s profit due to a sell-on clause they negotiated upon his sale. As things stand, this would be around £5.6 million – a potentially club-saving figure for the struggling St Andrew’s outfit. Meanwhile, whichever club acquires Bellingham’s services would be vastly improved.

Liverpool are perhaps the team in greatest need of Bellingham due to their failure to keep up with the pack in the Premier League this campaign. He would improve any team in the world though, it must be said. Bellingham’s destination is still unknown but it is certainly a story to keep tabs on over the coming months.
