Hide AdFifth-placed Villa are three spots and three points ahead of Fulham heading into today’s clash but there hasn’t been a huge gulf in quality between the two sides so far this season. The Cottagers have been in excellent form and only recently dropped out of the European spots following a narrow 3-2 defeat away at Manchester City.
The Villans have the opportunity to move into the top four with a win today but it certainly won’t be easy to do so as Fulham are unbeaten at Craven Cottage throughout 2024/25.
On the team news front, there are a couple of surprises for the visitors as Ezri Konsa has been named among the substitutes, with Diego Carlos starting in his place. John McGinn, meanwhile, is also on the bench despite being passed fit earlier this week.
Boubacar Kamara has made his long-awaited return to the matchday squad but Tyrone Mings - despite travelling with the team - sits out today’s encounter. Here’s how the two sides shape up in full.
