Championship team of the week dominated by Birmingham City, Sunderland, Plymouth Argyle and Blackburn Rovers - gallery

The 15th round of Sky Bet Championship fixtures has now come to a close and it’s safe to say it was a mixed bag. There seemed to be a direct split down the middle of very low-scoring and high-scoring games, with the two extremes either treating or disappointing fans.

Huddersfield Town v Watford, Stoke City v Cardiff City, and Swansea City v Sunderland all ended as bore 0-0 draws, while there were also three 1-0 wins across the board. One of these included the highly-anticipated Leicester City vs Leeds United and it was the visitors who rather surprisingly came out on top.

On the other end of the scale, Plymouth Argyle and Middlesbrough treated us to a 3-3 thriller and Ipswich Town came from behind to dramatically draw 2-2 at Birmingham City. Elsewhere, West Bromwich Albion beat Hull City by three goals to one, Blackburn Rovers beat Norwich City by the same scoreline, and Preston North End were 3-2 victors over Coventry City.

Despite the lack of goals in some matches, plenty of players impressed and it would be tough to choose just 11 to form a team of the week.
